Grace unplugged is based on a movie that just hit theaters October 4. The story is about Grace, an 18 year old girl who plays guitar with her dad, Johnny Trey, in their church worship band. Since Grace was a little girl she dreamed of being a famous musician.Though father and daughter were once best friends they now fight about Grace's input of style during worship.

Then one Sunday Johnny Trey's old manager Frank Mostin shows up to give Trey another recorded deal. After hearing the refusal Grace goes behind her dad's back and takes the record deal to chase after her dream.

The story focuses on the Grace's journey as she becomes a hit sensation and the trials both her and her family go through.
Can Grace become rich and famous or is she there for the wrong reasons?
